The purpose of color coding in a records management environment is, of course, to aid in the visual identification and processing of file folders and other media while they are located on a shelf or within a file cabinet. ColorBar Gold allows for printing of labels with any color printer on sheets (7 labels per page), or rolls (1,000 labels per roll). Since this system is database driven there is no need for re-entering data, it simply pulls the necessary information from your current system. ClickStrip™ software is a perfect way for small offices and clinics to enjoy the benefits of color coded filing with minimal labor and cost. The easy-to-use software prints all of your file information on one label strip using a desktop color printer. The ClickStrip system differs from ColorBar in that it is not database driven. The user would need to type in the information before printing one label at a time. ColorBar® ClickFile™ software prints color coded indexing, text, bar codes, graphics and full color images directly onto ColorBar® Printable Folders using a desktop color printer.
